	Air Conditioners		Trane manufactures a full line of air conditioners, ranging in SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) from 10.0 to over 19.5.
	Heat Pumps		Trane offers a complete line of heat pumps, which both heat and cool your home. Ranging from 10.0 to 17.90 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), and 6.80 to 9.85 HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor), our heat pumps provide efficient, year ‘round comfort.
	Ground-Source Heat Pumps		Some homeowners are tapping into the earth for energy savings. They have found geothermal energy as a great source in heating and cooling their home. Many of these homeowners power their geothermal system with Trane's ground-source heat pumps. They know that Trane offers high efficiency equipment, ranging from 13 to 22.8 EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) and from 2.7 to 3.9 COP (co-efficiency of performance) to provide some of the greatest energy savings and home comfort found in geothermal design.
	Gas Furnaces		One of the first things to consider when purchasing a gas furnace is its efficiency. This is indicated by the Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency rating or AFUE. Trane offers a variety of highly efficient gas furnaces, ranging from 80 to 92% efficiency. We also offer variable speed and two-stage furnaces, which can greatly increase your comfort level.

Ten Time-Proven Tips for Selecting a Dealer The Trane Home Comfort Institute recommends this ten-point check list for selecting a quality air conditioning dealer.

[ 1 ] Check credentials. Before making your choice, call the Better Business Bureau to make sure the dealer is reputable. Also, find out if the dealer is a member of a local association such as the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. This, in itself, is some indication of reliability.

[ 2 ] The dealer should be affiliated with a nationally known manufacturer. The reason: many dealers take advantage of factory training to help you determine your comfort needs. As a result, when they make recommendations, you can be more assured they have selected the right system for your home. They are also trained in installation and service.

[ 3 ] Contact individuals and ask if they were pleased with the dealer's work.Ask for references. Former customers are an excellent source of information. Call these

[ 4 ] Expect an on-site evaluation visit. A good dealer should take a personal, thorough look at your home, evaluate your overall comfort needs and recommend the best system for you. Beware of a dealer that simply takes information over the phone.
